SC Freiburg continued their impressive unbeaten run in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 win over bottom-placed Greuther Fürth on Saturday.
Although Freiburg coach Christian Streich was happy to see his side add three points to their tally, he wasn’t too pleased with the performance.
“I’m glad that we won, but I wasn’t overly pleased with our performance,” admitted Streich at the post-match press conference.
“We had a bit of luck on our side and were good in moments, like in the build-up to the penalty,” he added with a reference to the sequence that led to Vincenzo Grifo’s 3-1 goal from the penalty spot.
Streich’s troops sit third, three points behind league leaders FC Bayern and two points behind second-placed Dortmund.
